Range
of the California Red-Legged Frog

The historical range of the California Red-Legged Frog extended coastally from the vicinity of Point Reyes National Seashore, Marin County, California, and inland from the vicinity of Redding, Shasta County, California southward to northwestern Baja California, Mexico (Jennings and Hayes 1985, Hayes and Krempels 1986). Much of the remaining California Red-Legged Frog habitat is in a critical stage. The current California Red-Legged Frog habitat is dwindling. Click Picture for Larger Version
